Enkalon® quality
Van Beelen Group manufactures twisted and braided Enkalon® LongLife Netting. Our Enkalon® netting is used worldwide, for the most part in the Fishing Industry: bottom, mid-water en pelagic trawls. Especially for pelagic trawls, we developed PL Netting.
Our Enkalon® LongLife netting does not only have a higher breakload, but more importantly a higher knot strength. Nets made from Enkalon® LongLife netting can be made with smaller twine sizes for the same strength. This results in a trawl with lower drag, and saves fuel.
We manufacture all our netting in The Netherlands, with automated and computer controlled machines, which makes production efficient and prices competitive.
Because of the higher knot strength smaller diameters can be used, resulting in fuel savings of 20-30%. Per trip this amounts to saving thousands of liters.
