Polyester

Of all conventional materials, polyester has  relatively the highest coëfficiënt of friction and the highest melting point (250° C). Although nylon has a higher abrasion resistance, polyester is durable because it does not lose strength rapidly due to cyclic loading and because of the high UV resistance. Tensile strength is high, wet and dry strength are equal.

For use in our polyester Supercatch products we use Diolen® material by Polyester High Performance.
