Polyethylene

Polyethylene is the most common plastic. For our products we use HDPE, a high density polyethylene with the highest strength to density ratio. Melting point is relatively low, 120°C. Elasticity is also much lower than nylon and polyester. Polyethylene floats, specific weight is 0.95. Prolonged exposure to UV can cause polyethylene fibres to desintegrate.
