D-Rope

Van Beelen 12x1 strand D-Rope made with Dyneema®, Power-coat impregnated, is stronger than steel wire of the same diameter. D-Ropes are successfully used as Head-ropes, Gilsons, Sweeps and many more applications, replacing steel wire. The result is a higher net-opening, reduced towing resistance and easier handling. Van Beelen D-Ropes float in water, are easy to splice and very abrasion resistant. While specializing in the fishing industry, van Beelen increasingly deliveres D-Ropes to lifting- and hoisting, offshore, and shipping clients.

Made with Dyneema® fibers

This ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene is the strongest and lightest manmade fiber that's pound-for-pound 10 times stronger than steel, and used in easy to tow fishing nets, marine lines, body armor, sail cloth, high-strength cordage, cut-resistant surgical and food-processing gloves, and in other applications where light weight, endurance, strength and resistance to chemicals, water and ultraviolet light are needed.
