Braided twine, with Dyneema®.
|melting temperature||150 ºC|
D16 twine, 3 times as strong as nylon, is manufactured as netting twine for the many net products (for trawling, aquaculture, building industry, defense industry). D16 twine has:
The combination of these properties makes the twine suitable for use on small hydraulic winches, used for instance in jigging fishing and in agriculture. The use of D16 as kite surf lines is growing all the time.
D16 can be supplied untreated (white), or in a one of many different types and colours of coating.
We manufacture D16 twine from many different types of Dyneema®: in the standard SK62 and SK75, but since 2013 also in the strongest synthetic fibre available: SK99.
Because D16 netting twines are produced on highly accurate braiding machines that ensure equal tension in all yarns, D16 has the highest breaking strength in the industry.
